Chevrolet Cavalier
Chevrolet’s first attempt at a front-wheel drive compact didn’t really go according to plan. The Cavalier was poorly built with performance so bad it could have been overtaken by a horse and carriage. It was also dissolvable in water, as many owners found out after leaving their cars out in the rain for only a couple of weeks. As far as fails go, it’s safe to say this was one of Chevy’s largest.
