Chevrolet Monza
The Monza was a variation of the Vega, which in turn was derived from an Opel model, an European brand owned by GM. The 262 cubic small-block V8 developed an ‘insane’ 110 horsepower, but outright power or speed was not the issue. The package was developed so that you had to hoist and tilt the engine just to change the rearmost spark plugs. Naturally, it was slow and unreliable, we don’t even have to mention that at this point, it probably goes without saying.
