Smart Fortwo
People who have never driven a Fortwo may be victims of the misconception that the little Smart is the best city car the world has ever seen. It’s not though. It’s cramped and unpractical, with an engine so small you’re scared to go out on the highway. By a county mile though, the worst thing about it is the transmission. The automatic isn’t just slow or unresponsive, but it refuses to shift gears altogether. Manually shifting them does nothing, as the transmission has a mind of its own. Well actually, it doesn’t even have a mind at all.
